What is the best way to clean aluminum?

To remove dirt or residue, wipe the case clean using a soft, damp cloth. You can shine your aluminum case by applying a coat of mild polish wax that does not contain silica.

Does aluminum scratch or dent?

Yes, it is possible to scratch or dent your aluminum case. While we heat-treat and anodize the aircraft grade aluminum to provide maximum strength to the surface, it is possible that your case will scratch or dent. However, you can rest assured that no matter the bump or bruise, ZERO Halliburton cases will provide superior protection for your contents. Of course, the best way to reduce scratching or denting is by using a little tender loving care. Try to avoid dropping your case off of buildings, throwing it across the room or sliding it across rough or jagged surfaces. For your information, the silver color tends to hide scratches the best. A deep scratch will show silver, therefore, there is not much contrast between the scratch and the silver finish.

How long will the foam insert in my camera case last?

Like any other foam product, the foam in ZERO Halliburton camera cases is subject to degradation. While the foam is chemically stable at room temperature and will perform under a wide range of temperatures, the length of life of the foam can vary widely depending on the care of the product, including but not limited to environmental factors such as extended exposure to UV rays, heat or humidity. If you notice any appearance of fine powder, loss of resiliency, noticeable color change or a consistency change such as a rubbery soft feel, it is time to obtain a replacement set of foam. It is important to note that it is the sole responsibility of the case owner to regularly check for foam degradation and to replace the foam when necessary. ZERO Halliburton is not responsible for any damage sustained to the contents of the case due to foam degradation.

Where can I purchase foam inserts for my camera case?

I have had my case for many years and I would like to refurbish it or get replacement parts. Where should I go?
